The sides were a highlight, especially the cannellini beans with parsley, and the apple cake was really good too. We enjoyed a tasty dinner with fresh homemade pasta and good-quality meat, and the service was very quick. The pici al ragù was delicious. We were a little disappointed by how the steaks were cooked, though. We asked for the beef brisket Italian style and one medium, but got medium-well and well done. Since beef in Italy is often served on the rare side, that was a shame with such good meat.

The steak was incredibly tender and delicious, one of the best I've had. It's a lovely local restaurant with a rustic feel, and the stracciatella ice cream was great as well. Definitely worth a visit, though on busy days you might have to wait in line for a while.

We happened on this restaurant by chance, and I'm so glad we did. The roasted chestnuts were a lovely end to the meal, and the coffee was good too. Everything else was cooked just right: fresh, light bruschetta, tasty chicken and lamb, and delicious broccoli Romano that tasted like nonna's cooking. I couldn't fault the food and would definitely recommend it.

The bill took ages to arrive, even after we asked about four times. It finally came about 20 minutes after the first request. Before that, service had been fine, and the food was all amazing and very fresh. The steak was one of the best I've had in a long time. A great place to stop for a meal.

Just off the highway, it has a distinctive exterior and a lovely interior. I'd stick to the grilled meat to get the best of it. The dessert was very good, with a choice of different sorbets.
