B&B Aquarelle

We fell for the village, the pretty house, and even the trail down to the bus stop. Breakfast was lovely, too. When train problems in Milan made us late for check-in, we called ahead and the hosts came to pick us up for free, then drove us to the bus station as well. The best hosts. I really wish we could have stayed longer, and would highly recommend them!

The couple who run this B&B were the highlight for us. They’re lovely, know the area well, and can explain what to do around the lake and how to get around. Dinner was delicious traditional Italian food, and breakfast on the balcony came with a stunning lake view. It’s a real hidden gem, a special place to stay if you want something beyond an average hotel. We’ll be back. Thank you so much.

The meals were varied and delicious, and the view from the loggia while eating is one of a kind. Marisa and Gino are gracious, helpful hosts, and the atmosphere in their home feels almost like family. They’ve restored and furnished the old house with real charm and attention to detail. The village can be very picturesque in places, though getting there is a journey. Our stay felt special, and we already miss Marisa and Gino a little.

Breakfast was delicious, with local ingredients, and the owners were some of the sweetest people we’ve met on our travels, friendly, helpful, and professional. This renovated historic building has a lovely sense of the past in its detailed decor. Our room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and it had a TV, Wi-Fi, stereo, and heating. There’s a breathtaking lake view from the rooftop, and plenty to explore nearby, including walking trails. Highly recommend if you want to experience Italian hospitality.
