Hotel Molino

The location is the one real positive, and the parking is worth mentioning too. For what we paid, though, I left dissatisfied. We came as a family ski club of 100 people. The staff were generally friendly, but the room stayed dry and hot at 28 degrees. We left the AC off and the window open for four days, and it still wouldn’t cool down. The furnishings feel straight out of the 90s. The ski area was cold and had puddles like a swimming pool. The pool and jacuzzi seemed like a fungus farm, and the sauna costs extra, which is ridiculous. Breakfast was limited, with basically no vegetables, and the coffee was awful. Dinner had a range of choices, but what we were served was cold and inedible. This is not a 4-star hotel, barely a 3-star one.

The service was great, and the location could hardly be better. I’m giving it 3 stars because the hot water caused serious trouble: on one day there was none both before and after skiing. In a cold mountain place, water is one of the most important things. Not everyone had the issue, so maybe we were just unlucky.

The internet is terrible. Never, ever go to this hotel!

The hotel is right by the ski lift, and we had a brilliant week. The rooms were large, comfortable, very clean, and cleaned daily. Staff were always polite and smiling, and spoke fluent English. The breakfast was average and had no fresh vegetables, but dinner was very good. At breakfast, you could pick from six dinner courses for that evening, often Italian dishes, including al dente pasta and several good quality meats. There were also snacks laid out buffet-style. The pool was adequate and not too crowded, and there was a large ski storage room. It’s a typical Italian Alpine-style hotel. Molto grazie, we’ll definitely be back next year for another ski week.
