We only stayed a few days, but we’re hoping to come back next summer. The food was fantastic, the rooms clean, and everything was perfectly organized. The hotel staff were great, and so was the entertainment team from Style Animation. They were lovely, friendly, and kind with the kids, who adored Lalla. Luigi, Andrea, and the others put a lot of passion and commitment into their work. We can only recommend the place!

The setting is outstanding and the service adequate, but the experience was very disappointing. It’s advertised as a four-star hotel, yet the rooms don’t have enough electrical outlets. The loud party, disco, and entertainment meant we couldn’t sleep until at least 12:30 a.m. We had to close the windows and use the AC instead of enjoying the Mediterranean breeze from the beach in front. Our large group was required to eat in the big buffet hall, where the food was close to horrific. Most of us took a few bites and pushed our plates away. The dining hall director takes offense at criticism. In Calabria, you reasonably expect excellent food, so it was especially disappointing that it wasn’t.

There were hardly any plugs in the room, and I couldn’t find any near the table. The Wi-Fi connection wasn’t good, and there aren’t any shops nearby.

Maybe this area is better in the summer, when Italians are around, but in September it feels depressing.

I had a meeting there. The service was good.
