The evening entertainment was a real highlight: Paolo, a professional musician, kept things cheerful, and a local folkloric group got people dancing pizzica and sharing Salento traditions. There were different shows through the evening. This family-run hotel has warm, courteous staff who make it easy to have a personal connection, though the furnishings could use a refresh. It’s a little vintage, but the main comforts are there, and it feels welcoming. From the rooftop you get a great view and a large, very clean pool. Drinks are available at the pool bar, and downstairs there’s another bar beside a reserved garden area with a stage. Large, fresh towels are provided daily at both the pool and the private beach, where an umbrella and sun beds are included. Rooms are spotless, and the linens and towels are changed regularly during the week. The hotel is just a short walk from the town centre, shops, and everyday amenities. The historic Lighthouse, seafront promenade, food kiosks, ice cream cafes, restaurants, mini markets, groceries, and bakery are nearby. The food here is about what you’d expect from an average 3 star hotel, but there are plenty of fancier places around at reasonable prices.

The dinner was very poor, and the restaurant boss was extremely rude. Staff seemed untrained, too. The all-inclusive deal is a joke: you get wine or beer and some soft drinks, but I even had to pay for Sprite. The hotel is run down. If you go after reading this, that’s on you.

The rooftop pool was under repair in June 2023. Otherwise, this is a very good 3* hotel, renovated and almost on the beach. Breakfast was fine, and dinner was an excellent Italian buffet with different options each night and self-serve table wine. There’s a private beach, plus local restaurants, shops, and the lighthouse within walking distance. I’d stay again.

The staff were friendly and attentive. I only ate here in the evening: the starter buffet was excellent and dessert was very nice, but there wasn’t much choice for the main course. The restaurant decor feels dated.
