We'd already paid for two rooms and two breakfasts for the two of us, split across two reservations. One booking included breakfast for two and the other didn't. At first, the staff weren't sure if I could use a breakfast tied to a particular room, which was fair enough. The next morning, both our names appeared on the breakfast list. I showed the room number and nobody mentioned an issue or any extra charge. At checkout, a different male receptionist let us leave without asking for more money, so I thought everything was settled. We went into the city center after leaving our luggage at the hotel. When we came back that evening to pick it up, staff suddenly demanded payment for breakfast and treated me as if I'd taken it without paying. If there was a problem, they should have told me that morning. The attitude and lack of communication were disrespectful, especially since two breakfasts were already paid for. We ended up paying for three breakfasts between two people. If the hotel is as precise and professional as it claims, why not refund the extra one or allocate it properly? I recorded everything just in case. Don't twist the facts with excuses about luggage storage, which hotels do anyway. Such a shame.

We stayed here before driving to the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento the next morning. The bedrooms were really spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great, and the staff were lovely and helpful. Beautiful hotel!

Read the hotel's message before you go, because finding the place is the tricky part. Getting a signal to follow directions in a medieval stone city was difficult. Once there, the room was super clean, with a sleek modern look, and very good value. I only stayed one night.

Rossano from reception was a huge help. The directions sent before our stay were useful, and he even came to meet us and guide us to the hotel. He was exceptionally kind and looked after us throughout. Thank you, Rossano, and Alba Palace! We'd stopped for one night. The hotel itself is lovely, clean, nicely refurbished, and pleasant, and breakfast was okay. Getting there isn't easy, since it's beside a plaza in the middle of town and the roads are very narrow.

The rooftop restaurant is worth booking for an evening. The food was delicious, and the cathedral view felt magical. We also found the rooms roomy enough and very well equipped. Reception and restaurant staff were both genuinely attentive and nice. Such an amazing hotel!
