Masseria Torre Saracena

We left and found another hotel after getting a full refund. We’d arrived at 6 pm and only then learned the owners were hosting a wedding celebration from 8 pm. Our rooms could only be reached through the party area, and their windows looked straight onto it. Once the band started warming up, it was clear the noise would make sleep impossible. The hosts had invited us to join the celebration at check-in. They should have told us about it beforehand and let us decide. Something planned so far in advance shouldn’t be kept from guests until they arrive after a long day of travel, when they may have few other options. The place could work well as a hotel or as a wedding venue, but not both at once if you haven’t been invited.

Everything feels new, works well, and is spotless. This beautifully renovated place is peaceful, while still being close to Favara and Agrigento. A lovely young family runs it and is always ready to help. They’re a real example of warm hospitality and good management. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was fantastic, with products thoughtfully chosen from the local area. Salvatore and Rita have made a beautiful, peaceful place by updating a centuries-old house with modern facilities while preserving its authentic charm. Salvatore also speaks French and gave us suggestions about what to do and when. One of the best places we stayed on our trip.

The beds were super comfortable, and breakfast each morning looked picture-worthy. This young couple are just getting started, and they’ve done a great job. The place is modern and spacious, up on a hill, and they’re very friendly and accommodating. Don’t let the little road up to the Masseria put you off.
