B&B La Pergola

I paid in cash and received a receipt because the card terminal wasn't working. I wish they'd let me know before I arrived. The place is intimate and family-run, with clean rooms that have air conditioning and a fan. Breakfast on the terrace includes delicious fresh, homemade food. It would be helpful to have descriptions of what's on offer.

Marettimo is gorgeous! We stayed at La Pergola in mid-August, in a clean, comfortable apartment. The owners were kind and helpful. The quiet setting is well placed for starting hiking trails, right on the slope up toward Pizzo Falcone and the Roman houses. La Tramontana bar is only a few meters away and serves excellent granitas.

The view from breakfast is truly unique, and the apartment has a little garden that's perfect for relaxing. The location is very convenient, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the hostess is incredibly kind. A PERFECT B&B, to put it simply. Highly recommend it!

Our stay was a nightmare. The room was so cramped that with two of us, we had to take turns getting out of bed; there was barely room to do anything but lie down. The pillows weren't adequate to rest our heads on, and the sheets were old. There was just one window, facing inward toward a wall only a few meters away. The closet had only one door. The bathroom was tiny, with a small vent that didn't clear the odors properly. The shower head wouldn't stay mounted, so you had to hold it while showering. There was also a rusty toilet seat, which seemed unsanitary. We couldn't run two things at once without the power going out. The room wasn't cleaned at all during our two days. Breakfast was 500 meters from the property, and the only options were a croissant and coffee. We raised these problems with the owner, but she wasn't willing to address them. Absolutely not recommended.
