Casa Badia

We had high hopes for Casa Badia after a friend told us about staying there with friends a couple of years ago, and it lived up to them. We were in the Yucca apartment, which I think is the smallest of the three. It’s really comfortable and has what we needed, including an indoor dishwasher. There’s a shared washing machine outside, and we made use of both barbecues. The patio looking over the huge garden is beautiful, and even though it’s just outside the center, it feels very private. Donatella was there whenever we needed anything.

The garden at Yucca was a lovely place to unwind or have dinner outside, and the apartment itself felt welcoming and comfortable. Even with three apartments on the property, the layout gives everyone privacy. Donatella was so kind and available whenever we needed her. The location also worked really well: close enough to the center, away from the tourist bustle, and only a few bike rides from the nicest beaches. We’d happily come back.

Donatella was punctual and really kind, and we’d love to return. We stayed in the Poligola apartment, a little Favignana-style hideaway surrounded by greenery. The outdoor showers under the stars felt magical. It was just right for our cycling holiday around the island.

We spent a week at Casa Badia in the YUCCA apartment, and it worked perfectly for our family of four. The house was well cared for and had everything we needed. We especially liked the veranda for meals and downtime. It’s easy to walk into the center in the evening. For getting around to the island’s different beaches, though, having an electric bike or some other transport would be ideal.
