Casa Centro

The room was comfortable and spotless, and Casa Centro is only a 30-second walk from the historic center, where Favignana’s nightlife is. Alessandra greeted us so warmly that we felt at home right away. She sent us tips for things to do on WhatsApp and stayed available for questions or problems, even about how the weather can differ between coves and parts of the island. The location and cleanliness are just what you’d want as a tourist. We’ll definitely return.

Mrs. Margherita was a great help, sharing the information we needed to enjoy the island and suggesting some lovely spots for dinner or an aperitif. On our departure day, we could leave our bags in the common area and explore for a few more hours. The apartment is on a small street behind the Madrice Church, right in the center of Favignana. It has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Our room was very clean and had what we needed for a short stay. It was cleaned thoroughly every day, with towels and bath sheets replaced, and the little fridge was stocked with complimentary water. Highly recommended.

We spent July in the studio apartment. The big bathroom was comfortable, and the place was kept impeccably clean. It has a double bed, kitchen and table, plus access to a small terrace with a laundry room and a cozy living room. Air conditioning, a hairdryer, TV, refrigerator, oven, and the other things we needed were all there. The location is excellent. I’d recommend it.

Anna, the owner, was wonderful and always available, and Cristina, her kind, smiling assistant, deserves a special mention. She met us at the port and took us to the property, which is 100 meters from the center, convenient but quiet. The room was spotless, cleaned daily, with towels changed every day and sheets changed halfway through the week. Because of COVID, breakfast was at two affiliated bars in the center. Both were delicious, especially the famous cannoli and exceptional granitas. We highly recommend staying here.
