We had an experience we’d rather forget. The owner was rude and uncooperative whenever we asked for anything, including Wi-Fi and sheets. I left my shirt at the property and asked her to send it at my expense. She kept putting it off for six months, then disappeared.

The location near the port made it easy to drop off our bags, and it’s central for getting around the island. Inside, Casa Leonardo was spotless and welcoming, cared for down to the smallest detail. The fresh-smelling sheets and towels looked as good as new. It had everything we could need, from a large refrigerator and kitchen utensils to a moka pot and a hairdryer with a diffuser, which I need for my curly hair. The main bedroom area is very romantic. We had a wonderful stay and would happily repeat it. Highly recommend.

The location deserves top marks, and the house has a lot of potential. But cleanliness left a lot to be desired during our stay. The worst issue was the bad-smelling water from the shower and sinks, and even when flushing the toilet. The back door didn’t close properly either, and we found cockroaches in the kitchen. Such a shame.
