Casa Maja rooms & suites

The sea view from the terrace was dreamlike, and the room itself was comfortable and well equipped. From our first day, the staff made us feel at home, always kind, available, and quick to help with requests. The airport transfers, with hydrofoil tickets included, were a thoughtful extra and meant we could relax without worrying about arrangements. We had an unforgettable stay at Casa Maja and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting comfort and peace in Favignana.

The room was right in the center, a very short walk from the port and just steps from town, so the location was excellent. I spent three days in Favignana and booked Casa Maja's deluxe room with a terrace. It was clean and tidy, and the roomy terrace had sun loungers, an umbrella, and a little table with two chairs. The room also had air conditioning, a TV, and a small fridge. Everything was clean and accessible. Guests at Casa Maja can get a free coffee or drink from the machine at the entrance, with biscuits too. The price isn't low, but the service goes some way toward making up for the room cost. Recommended!

We slept well here: the property is quiet at night, even though it's right in the heart of Favignana. Our room, number 1, had two balconies. The bedrooms are spacious and nicely furnished, and the beds are comfortable. Everything was spotless, and the rooms have air conditioning. Lucrezia, who takes care of check-in, was very helpful and professional. I highly recommend this multi-room property.

A claustrophobic little room with a sewer smell, and the towels were dirty and not changed daily. The stairs are steep, there's no elevator, check-in is at another property, and what was sold as a terrace is just a roof. Go somewhere else. Update after the owner's sleazy response: I found out they have negative reviews removed. On Booking.com, they cancelled my reservation after my stay to avoid the review and pay Booking.com commissions. I reported this unfair practice.
