Villa Dei Gabbiani

We came with friends for a long weekend in Favignana in late April this year. The villa dei gabbiani is set in the typical island landscape, close to the main urban area and within easy reach of all the key spots. Getting around by bicycle is great. The houses were very clean and had all the necessary services, plus a lovely outdoor area for drinks or meals and a rooftop terrace with an amazing 3600 view. The well-kept garden, the scent of the surrounding vegetation, and the birds singing early and late in the day made it easy to relax. Rosalia and Pino were wonderful, extremely welcoming hosts. Don’t hesitate to ask them for suggestions on where to go or eat. Enjoy!

We first stumbled on this villa when we came to Favignana, and it’s become our trusted base. We’re a family with three small children and find everything we need here. There’s a spacious kitchen and living area, and the villa is surrounded by greenery. It’s peaceful, close to Favignana’s center, and convenient for what we think are the island’s best beaches. Riding out on a bike in just a swimsuit, coming back for lunch a few minutes later, then heading to the beach again without any rush is priceless. The owners are kind and discreet, but always there when needed. See you next year!

Everything is reachable by bike in five minutes. The villas are in excellent condition, the grounds are well cared for, and the location is fantastic, practically right on the beach and near town. The host was lovely and helpful. We highly recommend staying here. Grazie Mille Giuseppe!
