Marettimo feels like a hidden paradise, full of nature. Its authentic village is just right if you're after quiet and a slower pace. We spent a week there in July in a studio apartment, which was quiet, spotless and in an excellent location. It also had access to a small terrace. Mario was very kind and replied quickly whenever we had questions.

Mario was friendly, professional and always ready to sort out whatever we needed. Our apartment was clean and in excellent condition, a short distance from the center. We also booked boat trips through him. If you can, ask to go with Nunzio. He's very kind and happy to share all kinds of details and stories about Marettimo.

The boat only takes 12 people, and there were 10 of us, so we all had plenty of room. There are no services onboard, so bring your own food and water. Once you've got that sorted, everything is perfect. My husband and I went with Liberty Lines for an excursion of about 3.5 hours, leaving at 11:00 a.m. Nunzio guided us through a fabulous morning, and we want to thank him for such a wonderful trip. Highly recommended.

The two-room apartment right by the sea was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. The view was one of a kind and priceless. We had a fantastic holiday, thanks to Mario and Nunzio, and the boat trips were magnificent. Nunzio shared loads of information and stories along the way. Highly recommended.
