Charly Residence

We spent 10 days here on vacation with our family, and the hotel wasn't what we'd expected. The rooms were the one real positive: spacious and well appointed. Cleanliness could have been better. The food was the biggest disappointment, with only two options on the menu. It was repetitive and low quality, and none of the dishes were good, not even a simple pasta dish, which hadn't even been drained. Breakfast was very poor, with low-quality products. The staff seemed unprofessional and barely 18. For a 3-star superior hotel, I expected cloth napkins and tablecloths instead of paper ones. Getting to the beach means crossing a busy, dangerous highway with no pedestrian crossing, which is unsuitable for families with small children. The underpass for crossing the road is disgusting.

Our room at the Charly Hotel was spacious and welcoming, with a large, beautiful terrace. We were so glad to find a place that still feels family-run, where there is a real human connection instead of the distance that can come with extreme professionalism. From arrival onward, the welcome was professional but also warm and familiar, and that continued for our whole stay. Conny, the manager, and staff members Jerry and Davide were helpful, kind, courteous, and professional. Martina was very kind too. Thank you all for making us feel at home. We spent three wonderful days here in July on a last-minute half-board deal. The hotel is about 200 meters from the sea, and the special offer at the excellent beach resort Chalet Malu was a bonus. The seafood there was excellent. Conny, the manager, and the rest of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and clean, and everything worked perfectly. Portions were generous, and we ate very well on our last night. Highly recommended as a last-minute budget option. Thanks for a wonderful vacation. Stefy and Mauro.

I didn't feel comfortable during the first few days, but after meeting Ada Cianfrini I started to feel at home. I hope they begin having days for kids like me and Ada. The meals aren't the best, since there's not much choice and meals take a long time at the table. Still, it's all very nice, and the staff are quite helpful. Thanks to everyone.
