The location was peaceful and close to the city wall, with the center about a 15-minute walk away. But the €196.36 per night we paid through Hotels.com for the family suite felt like a rip-off. It turned out to be an attic room with just one skylight and a tiny shower, reached by steep stairs to the top floor. There was no reception desk, and room service was very limited. Our towels weren't changed over five days, and although there was a coffee maker, coffee was supplied only on the first day. After we'd checked in and paid, the customer manager stopped replying to emails. I can't say how the double rooms are, but if you need a family suite, there are several Airbnb options nearby to look at.

I won't book here again. The service felt badly organized and unprofessional. I booked online with payment at the property selected, but on arrival day they suddenly demanded payment by credit card and insisted, or they would cancel the room. They said checkout was by 10:30 a.m.; when I came back at 10:15, my luggage had already been left outside the room. It was a really distasteful gesture and a huge disappointment.

The location was perfect, and I was really happy with my stay. Check-in was easy, the room got cleaned every day, and the shared bathroom was spotless. I'd definitely stay again.

They said my debit card wouldn't work and cancelled the booking, then offered me a price twice as high as the original. I only managed to stay at the initial price because booking.com stepped in. This felt dishonest. If someone can't do business fairly, they shouldn't be in business.
