Fiera di Primiero itself was fantastic, but I don’t think we’ll stay at this property again. We were there for three days. The apartment has an old, poorly kept feel, and opening the cupboard doors reveals a mothball smell. There’s no proper heating, just electric heaters that can’t all run at once without tripping the meter. The listing promised a view of the Dolomites, but from one side we saw the house’s courtyard and from the other, the village street. There are no curtains in the living area, so there’s no privacy and people can look in from inside. The owner welcomed us only when we arrived, asked us to pay the balance, and we didn’t see her again. The keys were left where she instructed; if she had come to say goodbye like a welcoming host, there would have been no issue. She also said she’d take action after I simply asked whether our dates were high or low season, since some listings conflicted with each other. She set the final price herself, and I wasn’t asking for a discount. The parking space advertised for 5 euros per day is included in the price. I also wonder why our receipt was number 1 when the guestbook in her kitchen contains reviews from several people who stayed in 2019. Ms. Aurora was right about one thing: Fiera di Primiero has places far better than yours. Reviews are meant to help us improve, not to be taken as a personal insult.
