Fattoria il Leccio Fienile on Florence Hills

Andrea and his Family are about the nicest people you could meet. They went above and beyond every day to make sure we had what we needed and to help with any questions. They made our two-week vacation perfect, thank you! The house is a lovingly restored hourse with all the comforts, including air-con and excellent wifi. There’s an amazing pool, beautiful scenery all around, and a great view of the city. The location is also close to shopping. Everything was simply perfect.

The place is clean and nice, and if you want somewhere very quiet and rural, it could suit you perfectly. It just didn’t meet our expectations because it felt too rural for us. The map made getting there from Fiesole or Caldine look easy, but parts of the roads are unpaved, there are no lights, and they’re very narrow. Getting in and out would have been too much of an overhead for us.

We loved the stay and had a wonderful family holiday. The property is beautiful and peaceful, close to Florence, and the house is spacious, functional, and tastefully furnished. We especially enjoyed the lovely pool surrounded by greenery and the delicious olive oil. Andrea and her daughter were warm and kind hosts who made our stay enjoyable. Andrea speaks perfect French.

The Andrea Passigli family are warm, caring hosts, and we felt at home straight away. We’d love to come back to this peaceful apartment in the beautiful countryside around Fiesole/Caldine. There’s a large terrace, a spacious pool in the olive groves, and the country estate has been restored with great care. It brings together comfort, artistry, and good taste. The train gets you straight to the heart of Florence in 20 minutes. In Caldine (1000m), there’s a Coop supermarket, pharmacy, café, and the other essentials. A car is definitely necessary.
