The views looking out toward Florence and Fiesole are something else. The Farm and Botanical Gardens are really unique, and there’s a great pool for cooling off on hot days or just relaxing. The rooms are quite large, the food is always fresh and truly farm to table, and it’s very welcoming for kids. No wonder so many locals come here.

The rooms felt gloomy and soulless, and I’d never stay here again. The main issue was dinner: we ordered 600g of steak for two after the waitress advised that amount, but the bill showed we’d been served 1.7kg. The difference came to almost 60 euros. It’s not really about the money, it’s the principle. The waitress had made a mistake, but the restaurant manager was exceptionally rude, wouldn’t acknowledge it, and we got no refund. I felt robbed of what could have been a lovely evening. The place treats customers poorly, and I’d strongly suggest looking at one of the many other lovely places to stay in Florence.

We were lucky to spend a night in the tower. The views were hard to beat, and everyone was kind and helpful. We enjoyed a big lunch at the restaurant, fed the animals, and spent the day exploring the property. Such a beautiful place!

We stayed in Terraza, a huge, beautiful room with an unbelievable view. The pool was incredible, the staff were friendly, and we found it very relaxing. The AC worked better than most we’ve had in Italy, though the mattresses were a bit uncomfortable. It’s a great place for families with kids. Getting into the city takes a while if you have a lot planned, about 20-30 minutes by taxi and around $30-$45 each way. There are two good restaurants a short walk up the road, and the food at the property is great too. Highly recommend.
