Agriturismo Poggiopiano

We wished we'd booked more time at this special agriturismo/B&B. The room was beautiful and far beyond what we needed, and each morning's homemade breakfast was fresh, delicious, and full of local flavors. The staff were amazing, and we got to enjoy the excellent olive oil and wine they make themselves. The place is wonderfully peaceful, and the hospitality made our stay a real treat.

We stayed at Poggiopiano for 5 days as a family of four and had an amazing time. The place is beautiful and peaceful, the staff welcoming and helpful, and our spacious, clean room was perfect. It was very hot during our visit, so the refreshing pool was a welcome relief. We didn't rent a car, but walking down the hill to catch the bus into Florence was easy. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

On our long trip from Italy to Greece, we stayed at several places, including agriturismos, and Agriturismo biologico Poggiopiano was easily one of the top two. The peaceful setting among olive groves and vineyards is enchanting, especially so close to Florence. The staff were likeable, helpful, and highly professional, and the small plates of appetizers and treats were delicious. Their wine is fantastic. I still can't decide whether "Voce alla Terra" or the "Riserva" is their best. They were also wonderfully kind to our two dogs, even Nani, our female Great Dane, who isn't exactly easy to hide. A wonderful experience, and we'll definitely repeat it.

We were 16 family members at Poggiopiano for 14 days in June, and had an absolute pleasure of a time. There was plenty of space around the property to relax and enjoy the Tuscan setting, and we made regular drives into Florence, about 20 mins away, for history, art, food, and shopping. The pool was a great way to cool off when it got too warm. We also did a private, intimate wine and olive oil tasting, and a cooking class for the whole family. Each morning brought fresh coffee, cheese, and home baked goods so good we wanted the recipes. Martina, Cristina, and the family were accommodating and checked in regularly, with advice on places to see and things to do. It'll be very hard to match this stay if we visit somewhere else.
