Agriturismo Mascudiera

Enrico is a great host, by the way. I’m not sure “hidden hem” is the right phrase, but this is a peaceful, well-built agriturismo, a modern country house with a tranquil feel. Breakfast was amazing, simple but delicious, with well-made pies and croissants.

Our mini apartment was clean and worked well for our young family. It had a kitchen with basic utensils, and we could ask for more if needed. There was also a good-quality shared washing machine, though you'll need to bring your own detergent. We loved the huge pool. The apartment was serviced each day, which was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. The breakfast room is bright, beautifully decorated and restored. Each morning we got a generous breakfast with coppa and fresh pastries. Enrico kindly bought in a different cold meat for us to try, and the ladies working in breakfast and housekeeping were very pleasant.

Enrico and his family were such good hosts, and the area around the property was peaceful. It’s a short drive into Fiorenzuola. The rooms were roomy, comfortable, clean and really well done. Breakfast was included, continental and plentiful. Enrico drives into town early each morning to get fresh pastries. Loved our stay, highly recommended.

We loved the building's style and the history behind it. The rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was fresh and delicious, with regional food and amazing bread. The two ladies we met were very kind, and Enrico, the owner, gave us lots of helpful tips. Thank you for a perfect holiday home! We booked seven nights at Mascuderia. We spent a few days relaxing by the pool and enjoying the quiet, then rode around to Milan, Modena, Cinque Terre and nearby places. Being close to the highway was extremely convenient, while the village and not very touristy area still gave us an authentic Italian experience. Priceless.
