We travelled by bus as a group in early November 2022. The staff were polite, friendly, and very helpful. The same people worked mornings and evenings, and were always ready to assist. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and well equipped. The sheets and towels smelled fresh, and towels were changed daily. Breakfast was the usual Italian spread with lots of sweets, including delicious homemade crostate. We ate dinner there four times. Each meal had three courses, usually pasta or soup, meat with potatoes, and dessert. Every dinner was great. The portions might seem small, but they were happy to bring seconds. The desserts were fabulous, compliments to the chef!

The rooms were cozy and clean, but the service made the stay poor. Portions were tiny, and they took my food away before I had finished. The wine available with dinner was overpriced too. The service was terrible.

The woman who greeted us was quite polite, but the restaurant was a real shame. Several waiters were rude and inexperienced, working nervously with meagre portions. Their haste and lack of skill even got food on me. Seating was chaotic. Some people couldn't find their places because newly arrived guests had taken them, and the room seemed poorly managed. Some dishes never arrived. The maître d' told me not to take more than one piece of fruit from the buffet even though I hadn't approached it, then walked off a moment later. Meanwhile, others filled plates with fruit and left none for the rest. They criticize guests but don't seem to know the work or how to run a large dining room professionally. It's a shame; this once-thriving hotel needs a complete overhaul.
