The host was wonderful and helped me sort out my travel arrangements. The room was terrific, breakfast very tasty, and the location was quiet, only a few minutes’ ride from the airport. I’ll come back when I get the chance!

Getting there from the airport by bus was easy, and the neighborhood seemed very nice. Our stay was excellent: the room was beautifully finished, clean, and well equipped, and breakfast was great. We had planned to arrive earlier, but a rail strike across Italy delayed us. Ketty was very understanding and sent detailed instructions for taking the bus from the airport. Her help was amazing, and we’re very grateful.

Ketty made everything easy, helping us find the place, keeping us comfortable and well fed, and sorting out anything we needed. The rooms have all the essentials, the bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic. We also loved the trattoria next door. We took a short drive or bus ride to Ostia Antica, one of the top Roman ruins sites in Europe. Such an amazing place to spend a day or two before flying from Rome.

Ketty is a sweetheart, and her friendliness made the stay even better. l'Ulivo exceeded my expectations. It’s probably the cleanest B&B I’ve ever stayed in, and I travel quite a bit. Everything was spotless. The bedroom and private bathroom were nicely sized and had everything needed for comfort. The bed and mattress were excellent, as were the linens and towels. Breakfast is available in the morning, and there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. A bus stop is very close, making it convenient to get to and from the airport. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone needing somewhere near the airport.

Getting to B&B L'Ulivo was the tricky part. No taxi would take us such a short distance, which was outrageous. We eventually caught a bus and walked about 350-400m from the stop. If your flight gets in late at night, it could be a bit of a struggle, though it’s possible. The accommodation is in a quiet residential part of Fiumicino, about 3km from the airport. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, and met us even though we arrived quite late. Our room was cute and spotless, the bathroom was fairly large and had everything we might need, and we slept well between flights. Breakfast was basic with limited choices, but we found something to eat.
