Le Boutique Luxury Rooms

The service was great, and the rooms were okay. It's in the historic part of town, though the stairs are a killer if you're older.

The beds were good, and the stay wasn't really bad, but the place certainly didn't look like the website. After booking, we were moved to another building. The room was small, the wind came through the windows and made the curtains flap, and the shower vent didn't work. There was no coffee or tea.

Room 4 had such a strong mould smell that my daughter got out of the shower to vomit. The bathroom ceiling was visibly mouldy, and the bathroom itself was riddled with it. We came back from dinner and found the smell even stronger there, so we shut the door and didn't use it again. Because reception was empty late at night, we couldn't ask to change rooms. Our family of five had booked two rooms, so we all had to share the bathroom and toilet in room 1 for the rest of the night and the next morning until checkout. Room 1 was also cramped, with barely enough space to move, let alone store suitcases. We could hear the man next door snoring all night, as well as the couple having sex upstairs, despite the website's soundproofing claim. We were completely disappointed. The photos and information on the hotel's website felt like false advertising. There was nothing luxurious about this place.

Our room was at a satellite location, about a five-minute walk up the street with suitcases after checking in at the main address and climbing a flight of stairs. The room was tiny, and the bathroom had no towel rack or toilet paper holder. The AC worked well, but breakfast and the rooftop patio were at the other location, and we weren't given access. We also never received the check-in instructions by email 72 hours ahead as the reservation said we would. I wouldn't stay here again.
