Getting here by car makes sense. Florence is a 15-20 minute drive away, with free parking on Sundays and paid parking that can be found on other days, then you can walk. The house is in a beautiful setting among olive groves, with lovely views, and Isabella is a treasure, full of information and patient suggestions about where to go. She served coffee and kept an eye on the other guests, and her English is excellent. The place is rustic and quiet, just what we wanted. We’ve really enjoyed our four-day stay, and the room, bathroom, and guest kitchen are all extremely clean. I’d recommend A Casa di Olivo to anyone wanting a beautiful spot away from the city bustle.

Isa and Laura are wonderful people. They made this holiday stay feel like a home away from home, which doesn’t happen often. Breakfast was splendid, and the garden was a lovely place to relax.

Lovely people and a really nice place, with a perfect breakfast. One small warning: Google has the location wrong. You need to take the little road on the right, not go up the hill. Don’t make my mistake, your car won’t get up there, and there’s no need to try.

There’s good parking, and the B&B is easy to reach by car, not far from the center of Florence. The courtyard is beautiful and has a lovely view of the city. Our room was very nice and had all the comforts. Breakfast had plenty of variety: sweet choices like rice milk, dried fruit, pastries, and cookies, as well as savory bread, cured meats, and cheeses. The rice milk also suits people with intolerances or those looking for a vegan option.
