Really nice place, and the staff were friendly :)

This was the most disgusting, horrifying apartment I've ever seen. The family room for four looked like a morgue in an old hospital. There was dirt on the walls and around the light switches, which were dirty too, and the pillows had awful yellow stains under the pillowcases. The furniture looked scavenged from a dumpster. A rag covered a hole in the window, and mosquitoes got in. The whole floor smelled of chlorine. The room door lock looked like a hole, and the elevator didn't work. There was no overhead light in the shower and some light fixtures were missing. The shower seemed so bad I was afraid of getting an infection. The bidet was opposite the window. Two beds had only thin bedspreads, no blankets, and towels cost extra. There was no kettle, and apparently there wouldn't be one. A closet was crammed with broken beds, construction equipment, stepladders, and other junk. There was trash and empty bottles on it, and the room was so tight we had to move a bed to get to the closet. The owner only accepted cash and wouldn't give me a receipt. He refunded my money without questions, but kept the towel charge. Afterward, he canceled my reservation, saying my credit card was invalid. By all accounts, he's a complete jerk.

Good location and affordable prices. Recommended for a stay in central Florence!
