Albergo Firenze

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the location was perfect. The room was basic but clean. Nights and early mornings were very noisy, though, so light sleepers may want to think twice about staying here.

The staff were friendly and excellent, and breakfast was good. I had a small single room with a view of Dante’s house museum. Both the room and bathroom were clean, and the central location was excellent.

The location is hard to beat, with easy walks to everything in the old town, and the staff provided great service. Our room worked perfectly for four, it was clean, and the WiFi was passable. The luggage storage room was very helpful, and we had a nice stay overall. Outside noise was a problem at night: nearby residents partied for much of the night, then trash collection started just as they went to bed. The shower was difficult for our 81 year old mother, with a high step to get in and little room in the tub. There was a seat at the back, though I'm not sure why you'd use it. We stayed only one night, so it didn't matter much this time. Breakfast was good since it was included in our rate, but there are also plenty of places to eat out. The recommended parking garage said there was a hotel discount but didn't honor it. When we return, I'll probably look for a hotel with a better bathroom setup.

The location makes this place hard to beat, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. It’s a clean, comfortable city hotel, and the staff are extraordinary. This was my third stay at Albergo Firenze, and it’s never let me down. I’m already looking forward to coming back.
