The staff were really nice and accommodating, and I'd come back if I were in Florence again. The room had been updated and was clean, with a good bathroom. During my backpacking trip, it was a relief to shower in a proper shower with a door.

A couple of the staff were very helpful, but don't expect much of a warm welcome from the people at the front desk. For a place meant to be a three-star hotel, I'd give it two stars at most, and that's being generous. The furniture in the room was dated and falling apart in places. As usual, Italy feels like a rip-off.

The staff were super friendly, the room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean, breakfast was good, and the welcome drink was a nice touch. One thing they should do is let guests know ahead of time that check-in happens in the downstairs bar.

There isn't an elevator, which could be an issue for some people, but otherwise you'll probably enjoy this place. It's a great hotel near the train station, and just about everything worth seeing in Florence is within walking distance.

I really liked the atmosphere at Hotel Annas, and the staff were cool. It had what we needed for a trip: a good bed, bathroom hygiene items, air conditioning, and a simple, good breakfast.
