We arrived close to midnight after a delay, but the staff stayed in touch and were flexible over email and messages the whole time. They were patient and helpful. The rooftop was absolutely charming, too. The rooms are a little small, but well furnished and in good condition. Breakfast was better than a standard continental breakfast in the US.

The roof terrace is open for everyone to enjoy, with nice views over Florence. Staff speak several languages and were very helpful, and the continental buffet had something for everyone. The hotel is just a few minutes from the main station, with eateries nearby and the main sights a 15-25 minute walk away. Once buzzed in, we were warmly and safely welcomed at the reception on the third floor. The hotel and rooms are tastefully decorated, clean, and modern.

The Italian sweets were a lovely touch, and the reception staff were very helpful. It took us a while to find the place, though, since the sign is small and hard to spot, but maps help. The lift is quaint when it works, and there are lots of stairs. The air conditioning worked well, and the family room was perfect for a big family. The bathrooms smelled and drained slowly, but it wasn't a big deal. It was quite pricey per night, though when we booked it was among the cheapest options. We'd stay there again.

We were a group of nineteen, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The location was convenient and quiet, my room was lovely, and breakfast was great. Highly recommend!

The terrace is open throughout the day, and the views from up there were really good. We had a great stay, and I'm not sure why the hotel's rating is lower. The rooms were big, breakfast was great, and customer service was awesome. We went to Pisa and came back late at 2 PM, and the hotel gladly kept our luggage until we returned. It's very close to the railway station, which was super convenient. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence.
