Apartment Borgo Pinti

The kitchenette had what I needed for breakfast: an electric kettle, microwave, capsule coffee maker, induction hob, tea, juices, jams, and toast. The shower was lovely, with two shower heads. The bed was comfortable, though a little too tall for me at 185cm. It was quiet and comfortable, and the station is within walking distance on a pleasant route past some of Florence’s most beautiful Renaissance monuments and buildings. A very strategic location.

The room was lovely and comfortable, and our host always replied to our messages. The breakfast vouchers were a nice touch, and the food was delicious. We’ll definitely come back. The location was amazing.

The breakfast was the one disappointment. It was served at a bar on the corner, where €14 for a coffee and pastry felt exorbitant for pastries of such poor quality. It came with a couple of stones in hand. Maybe talk to your partner about representing your beautiful city better. The apartment itself was magnificent, right in the heart of Florence, with a nice blend of old and new. The staff were pleasant and kind. We were traveling with our children, and after more than 10 hours on the road, we appreciated the peace, the bed, and the bathtub with a view of the garden.

The owner, Matteo, dealt with the problem quickly and professionally. When heavy rain caused water to leak through the roof at night and almost flood our room, he apologized profusely, refunded the full cost of our stay, and moved us into the apartment next door at no extra charge. It was even larger, and we stayed there for the next two nights. Apart from that start, I can recommend the property. The apartments were clean and well cared for, and Matteo was friendly and reliable. The location was excellent, about a 10-minute walk from the city center, in a quiet area with no noise at night. Breakfast was included, though it was packaged food and nothing special. For the price, it wasn’t bad.
