Apollo Guest House

We had a very smooth check-in and a really good stay. The rooms were clean and modern, and the whole place has been renovated with an elevator. It’s on the top floor of an older building, which made it very quiet. All the attractions are walkable, and the train station is just a block away.

A good, roomy place for the price, with a nice balcony and AC. The shower head was a little unreliable but still worked. The only real drawback was that the area felt a bit sketchy at night, though it was completely fine during the day.

The room is very clean and has a distinctive layout, and I especially liked the little balcony. It’s a convenient location, under a five-minute walk from the station and luggage storage. The advance directions were complete and clear, and check-in went smoothly. Only issue: the bottle opener was broken.

The location is fantastic, an easy walk from the central station, which is very close. The staff were friendly, quick to reply and really supportive. Our pretty room was clean and warm, the space was just right, and everything worked well. The bathroom amenities were nice too. There’s a balcony if you want a glass of wine in the evening, and free coffee and tea on the table. Tuscan wine was available as well, priced from 10 EUR a bottle if you wanted one. Getting in was simple: three codes, for the building entrance, apartment door and key locker. The hallway was clean and welcoming. They also gave us restaurant discount coupons, including for breakfast. I would have tried one if we’d stayed longer. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Florence, no need to look elsewhere.
