10/10
It's been a really pleasant place to stay, with a distinctly Italian feel and a great atmosphere. The kitchen has dishes, glasses, a water heater in a coffee pitcher and an instant coffee bubble machine. There are also a washer and dryer, plus salt, coffee and some basic supplies. Lots of thoughtful details: cable TV, mirrors, toilet paper and soap and shampoo. Everything was very clean, and the street-facing windows are double-glazed. Really welcome touches.

The location is fabulous, steps from the cathedral and the main sights, in a lively village even at night. The place was comfortable and well kept, and the owner took care to explain the amenities. My only complaint was the dim lighting in the room. The dark upholstery on the curtains and cushions also made it seem dusty.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the location was excellent. The service itself could use improvement.
