B&B Dell'Olio

The owner was a gentleman, very kind and willing to go out of his way to help and accommodate me. Dell'Olio’s rooms were nice and clean, and it’s conveniently close to shops, restaurants, sights, and supermarkets. He couldn’t fit me in for the whole stay, though, and suggested other available properties. I wouldn’t recommend those places: one had too little hot water, another lacked enough water pressure, and one had a very small shower.

Breakfast is served at a lovely place about 200 meters away, with a great buffet selection. The rooms themselves are beautiful, clean, and well maintained, right in the heart of Florence. We got a wonderful welcome and will definitely come back.

The pillows and mattresses felt like a cloud, making for the most comfortable wake-up. The B&B was our favorite place to stay during our Italy trip, conveniently close to the Duomo and good restaurants, cafes, and bars. Alessandro was a warm, welcoming host who made sure we were comfortable throughout. Highly recommended.

Alessandro made us feel at home, even though we were thousands of miles from Canada. He made our comfort his priority throughout the stay. On our last day, we brought lunch back to the hotel and he opened a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate with us. That was the part I’ll remember most. The location is stunning. Pazzalle Duomo feels almost right in the backyard, while the hotel sits on a quiet, safe street. I can’t recommend B&B Dell’Olio enough. Five out of five, don’t look anywhere else!
