The front desk staff were great, really nice and knowledgeable. They suggested places to see and eat, and called us a taxi at short notice without any trouble. The hotel is close to so much that we could walk everywhere in about 20 minutes or less, with lots of sights, restaurants and shops nearby. There are stairs to the rooms, and we had four different keys for one room. Our private bathroom was separate from the room, which felt a little odd, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker.

The owner clearly cares, and the service was friendly, effective and responsive. It felt like a warmer welcome than most hotels provide, and I’d highly recommend it. There’s a handy grocery store next door, and the place has good amenities and a nice common area. It’s also close to the Uffizi and River Arno.

The owner was a very friendly woman, and although we arrived before check-in, she let us leave our luggage. The location was great, close to all the tourist sights. Our room was small but clean. The external bathroom and toilet made us feel less comfortable. Thanks for everything.

Nice place to stay while visiting Florence and the surrounding area. There’s no breakfast, but a large common room has coffee, milk and some biscuits available.
