We wanted a reasonably priced place to sleep while we explored Florence, and that’s what we got. The location was absolutely perfect, couldn’t have been better. Even though we booked the small double, the room was spacious, comfortable, and cool. I’d come back without a doubt.

The couple who run the place are delightful and more than make up for its physical shortcomings. They even went out of their way to find soya milk so my vegan partner could enjoy breakfast more. The facility itself is functional, though certainly not fancy, and it’s just down the street from the Duomo. That makes the location ideal. All in all, a good spot.

We could leave our luggage before check-in after arriving by train, then head straight out to explore the historic center, just around the corner. The hotel is very central but quiet at night. Our twin room was bright and clean, and the owners were friendly and helpful. We visited in the off-season, in February/March, and the price was fair. I’d definitely recommend it for a city trip to Firenze.
