The location is fantastic, and the room is large and clean. I liked having a shared dining room with a well-equipped kitchen. A few things could be better. The room's heating panel felt too small for its size, so the central heating wasn't enough for me. The shower cubicle is very tiny, too. There isn't a lift, which could make the building hard to access for older or disabled guests. We were asked to complete online check-in after arriving, and doing it on a phone was difficult. It would be easier to handle beforehand on a computer or laptop. Paying the city tax only in cash was also very annoying.

The room had a washing machine and a coffee machine, but there was no laundry detergent or coffee capsules provided. We also couldn't leave our bags for a few hours between checkout and our train because of “COVID.” For a price this high, I expected better service. The apartment wasn't clean at all: the floor was dirty and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. I was disappointed by how impolite and unwelcoming the staff were. There was also a camera in the living room and a sign saying video recording was active.

We spent five days in Florence, and the central location made it easy to get around in the mornings and evenings. The guest house was clean, with excellent service and a kitchen that was open to everyone and always stocked. Gabriella was lovely, friendly, and always available. There's also a spacious, comfortable terrace. Truly wonderful, highly recommend!
