Everything was clean, and the room felt warm and comfortable, with soft pillows and a warm shower. Serena was polite and helpful, and the location was great. If I return to Firenze, I'd choose this place first.

The location made it easy to explore on foot, and the walk to Firenze Santa Maria Novella station took about 15-20 minutes, even with luggage. Back at the property, I could settle in with a warm tea, or grab coffee, tea, water, and light snacks from the lounge before heading out. The living area felt beautiful and relaxing, and the staff were friendly in a way that made it feel like a family home. My room was spacious, with a big, comfortable bed, a lovely view that made time feel suspended, and a spacious, beautiful bathroom. There’s an old-fashioned elevator as well as stairs. It was a little scary at first, but fascinating. Sounds came in through the window because it wasn’t very soundproof. I mostly heard musicians and natural sounds rather than traffic, and I still slept well.

Evenings brought opera singing and guitar music from the nearby plaza, which was lovely to hear. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the train station and everything else, though it’s not right in the city’s very center. It’s in an old building with beautiful decor, a piano, and an antique elevator. There’s free coffee, tea, and cookies available at any time. The spacious rooms have elegant names and antique furniture, and the bathrooms are especially large.

The piazza nearby stays lively with music and singing, and the area felt safe. Santa Trinita bridge is close, and everything was easy to reach on foot. Inside, the common area is gorgeous and the building has plenty of heritage. The service was wonderful, and my stay has been lovely. The room was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed and a strong shower that kept a good temperature. The elevator worked well, too.
