Burchiello BB

Carlo made us feel so welcome at this family-run Burchiello B&B. He had clearly thought about the details guests might need, and we loved our stay. We were there just one night as a family of three. The room was clean, with comfortable beds, good mattresses and pillows, and plenty of wardrobe space. It had a nice balcony and a well-equipped bathroom, including toothbrushes, makeup remover pads, shaving kits, body wash, and slippers. Breakfast was nicely laid out in the kitchen, with cereal, croissants, tea and coffee, and big jugs of fruit juice. Carlo hosted and served the drinks. He was also very attentive, gave us a Florence map with bus routes, patisseries, and places worth seeing or good value, and let us leave our bags early so we could explore without them. The area was quiet and pleasant. The building had traditional character alongside modern comforts. There was also a shared kitchen and a washer-dryer, which would have been handy if we’d stayed longer.
