Canto Dei Mille

Canto dei Mille is a guesthouse without breakfast, but downstairs there's a well-stocked snack room where you can make a drink with the coffee machine or kettle. It was all free, provided by the property, and we made good use of it. The rooms are beautiful and have every comfort, with a perfect bathroom and everything from soap to cotton swabs. The owners were so kind, friendly, and helpful. Since check-in is at Palazzo Lombardo right next door, they even walk you over to the property. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the Nelson Mandela Forum. From Piazza San Marco in Florence, we recommend taking a bus and getting off right by the property, about a 15-20 minute ride. Everything was wonderful, and we'll definitely be back. If you're going to a concert at the Florence Forum and need somewhere to stay, this guesthouse is perfect!

The room was clean and quiet, and the hostess was genuinely kind. It’s spacious, with an ensuite bathroom and excellent attention to detail. The high ceiling, around 4-5 meters, made it a bit cold. Otherwise, an excellent place to stay, especially if you’re heading to the Stadio or Neldon Mandela Forum for a concert. Parking can be hard to find because of restrictions during sporting events. We’ll definitely be back.

The neighborhood is peaceful, and public transport makes getting to the city center easy even though the place isn't right in the middle of town. Inside, the rooms were consistently clean and tidy, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Everything worked out perfectly.

Ms. Tiziana was so kind and helpful, and the rooms were both spacious and clean. Canto dei Mille is a lovely building with a distinctive charm and an interesting past. We had a perfect stay, thank you!
