The photos are accurate, and check-in was quick and easy. Our flight was badly delayed, but they kindly arranged a late check-in for us, for $30 after midnight. The host communicated well and gave us great restaurant suggestions. There are plenty of good places to eat, including Istanbul Doner Kebap right outside for a quick bite. The apartment is on the third floor with no lift, so keep that in mind with luggage. It's about a 25-minute walk to the train station, and you should book a taxi ahead if you need one. The apartment doesn't face the street and was quiet most nights, though sound carries through the hall and stairs. The street is fairly busy, and the bar downstairs stays open until 3:00/4:00 am on Saturday, which could bother light sleepers. I'd definitely stay again.

Right in the heart of Florence, just steps from Piazza Santa Croce. Great value for the money and a perfect spot for a lovely holiday in the city.
