The apartment has a lovely authentic feel, with high ceilings and a mural, interesting decorations, and a comfortable bed. The kitchen is well equipped, even with a toaster, which is handy for cooking at home, though with so many great places to eat nearby in Italy, that almost feels like a crime. We enjoyed the location, close to major attractions and good restaurants, and had a good stay overall. The apartment is on the first floor, reached by a long staircase that may be challenging for some. The bar nearby made the first two nights rough. Friday's music went on until 3 AM, and Saturday's until around midnight. The windows blocked most of the noise on other nights, but during those first two nights it was still too loud to sleep, even with earplugs. I'd recommend the place if weekend noise won't bother you.

The building's history really added to our time in Florence. We stayed in a beautiful 13th-century palazzo just steps from Piazza della Signoria, a perfect base for exploring on foot. The apartment had a warm, inviting feel, was clean and well maintained, and combined historic character with comfort. The upper floor has low ceilings, which add to its charm and authenticity. With two comfortable bedrooms and plenty of space across two levels, it worked very well for our family of four. The internal stairs and historic layout mean it isn't recommended for guests with mobility difficulties. We'd definitely recommend it to families or anyone after an authentic, memorable stay in the heart of Florence.

Vincent was a great host, cheerful, responsive, and helpful with all our needs. He was ready with guides when he checked us in. The apartment was clean, well maintained, and had everything we could need. It's centrally located and easy to get to almost anywhere. We had a great time in Florence, with excellent eateries, gelato, and attractions all around.
