The location is a 10/10, and WhatsApp was handy for getting in touch. They usually replied within two hours, and entry through the main door worked with a call to an Italian phone number. The place feels outdated, and the doors creak when you open or close them. There's no elevator. I had to ask for the AC remote. At times there was no hot water, and management said street work was the reason. The bathroom could use shared basics like soap, shampoo, paper towels, and even toilet paper. Having to carry those things from my room every time I needed the toilet or wanted to wash my hands was annoying. There's no bath mat to soak up water after a shower, or anywhere to put clean clothes. I did spot a rack, but it was dusty and didn't look like it was wiped down daily.

The location is extremely central, so it was easy to get around on foot. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and it stayed quiet. Check-in was contactless, and there are three rooms. There’s no ventilation or view, though, and the floors are so cold and hard that you’ll want slippers.

4/10
The host was friendly and the location is central. Room 4 was okay, but the outlet didn't work, the shower door wouldn't shut, and the shower seal leaked. The lighting was very weak.

Such a warm, sincere welcome, and the location is great. This would be my first choice in Florence. Thanks for everything.

Large, clean rooms at a very good price, and the location is excellent. The bathroom is shared. I can recommend it.
