Hotel Berna is where you check in, a few steps away on the same street. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, which made both arrival and the stay enjoyable. The room was clean enough, though a few spots could use touch-ups or renovation. Being close to the station was convenient.

Nadia was very kind and helpful. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable for our family with two kids, and the train station is about a two-minute walk away. I'd strongly recommend this place to my friends.

We ended up finding somewhere else for the second night and booked Palazzo Guicciardini, because we didn't want to spend another night here. We had planned on two nights. The Google photos made the room look promising, and the prices were quite high, so we thought it might be a good choice. When we arrived, nobody at the hotel answered. Instead, we had to go to another building to check in. We had booked the “Deluxe Suite,” but it was dirty, with tissues under the bed and hairs in the blankets. The doorway, elevator, and hall leading to the room were probably the most upsetting part.

You can reach all the places you’d want to visit in about a 15-minute walk, and the location is as central as it gets. Being right by the train station also makes it easy to get in and out of the city. The downside is how busy the area is, with narrow sidewalks.

It's close to the train station, but the constant foot and street traffic makes it impossible to sleep. The noise just doesn't stop.
