Firenze Mia Piazza Signoria

We just got back from Italy, and La Signoria di Firenze was fantastic. It's a small B&B close to Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi, with the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and other main piazzas about a 5-8 minute walk away. Our room was spotless and comfortable, the bathroom had all the amenities, and the people there were so kind. Breakfast was served at Caffe Perseo on the piazza, an outdoor cafe with heaters when it's cooler, owned by the same owner as the B&B. Jean-Pierre was incredibly nice. We got a full breakfast that suited our dietary restrictions, and his team packed breakfast to go for our early morning tour. When we needed a taxi, he even called one for us from the bar. The cafe is also worth visiting during the day for its in-house gelato or last-minute gifts like cantucci in a decorative tin. There's a fantastic sandwich shop across the street.

The hotel is so central that you can walk to everything, yet it's quiet in a small alley. It's on the second floor, with no elevator. My room was clean and had a nice hot shower, and the staff were kind and easy to communicate with. I enjoyed the breakfast at a nearby cafe every day, with a beautiful view, and the cafe staff were so kind they made my mornings. If I visit again, I'll book here. I'd recommend it to anyone coming to Florence.

The room was comfortable and had a good bed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Service was top, and breakfast was delicious with a view. The location is excellent, close to everything worth visiting. Two small things could be better: an internet TV for streaming and stronger WiFi in the room.

Everything about this cute B&B was awesome. Valentina at the front was especially kind and friendly. When she found out my partner and I were visiting Florence to see our wedding venue, she left us a little congratulatory present later that day. So thoughtful, thank you again, Valentina. You were an amazing host!
