Flor in Florence

We were made to feel really well looked after, thanks to a polite, capable host. The breakfasts had a tasty range of options, too. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and spotless, and I especially loved the shower. The electronic blinds and touch controls gave the room a very comfortable feel. Getting around was easy, with the cathedral about 10 minutes away and the train station roughly 20 minutes on foot. Thanks for a memorable stay in such a lovely city.

The service was attentive, and breakfast was just the right amount. Our room was beautiful, too. It’s tucked away from the crowds but still an easy walk to Duomo. Loved this little gem.

I’m usually not much of a bed and breakfast person, but I enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Alexandro made it feel like a home away from home on our Florence trip, from the friendly welcome to the great breakfast. The place is in a quiet spot, about a 10 minute walk to central Florence and a 5 minute walk from the famous Florence sandwich shop everyone raves about. We’ll definitely come back, and bring the family next time.

Breakfast was included each morning, which was a nice extra, and the location made it easy to walk into the city center. Getting in was confusing, though. It’s on the fourth floor, and you need to buzz in before taking the elevator on your first visit. I wish that had been explained more clearly. Coming back at night felt very quiet and a little eerie, especially since some of the motion lights weren’t working. The room furniture also looks dated. Still, it was a nice stay overall.
