Four Seasons Hotel Firenze

The gardens and historic buildings make Four Seasons Hotel Firenze feel like its own quiet Italian village, even though you’re in the heart of Florence. After a full day, I slept and recovered wonderfully. The property also has plenty of refined dining, including Michelin-starred Il Palagio, so there’s no need to leave for a special meal. What impressed me most was how smoothly everyone worked together across concierge, front desk, and butler services. The concierge anticipated what I needed, the front desk was both warm and precise, and the butlers made the experience feel personal. Security and privacy were discreet, professional, and reassuring. The service felt carefully coordinated without any fuss. I’d visited before without staying, and that was my mistake. For someone who values thoughtful service and things running seamlessly, this hotel gets it. It’s now a must-do for me in Florence, and my new home in the city. Bravo to the whole Four Seasons Firenze team.

The team’s care was the standout for me. At breakfast, the chef came over personally to ask what I liked, then made a meal to suit my preferences. When the treatment I’d requested wasn’t available, the hotel sent several lovely gifts to the room. A small problem with the coffee machine was fixed quickly, too. I booked a night through AMEX and got an upgrade to a suite, four categories above the standard room, just as pictured. It was very luxurious and comfortable. The hotel is a little outside the city center, but using the pool and jacuzzi in winter is an experience you shouldn’t miss. The gym had some of the most advanced equipment I’ve seen in a hotel. This kind of service is rare in Italy. It’s expensive, yes, but worth every euro. Thanks to the whole team for taking such good care of us.

We tried both a historic room and a recently renovated one, and each was wonderful. The property is beautiful, with gorgeous, peaceful gardens that are kept in lovely shape. It’s an easy walk to the city center, but the hotel itself feels quiet and tucked away. The staff were very attentive. We ate at the lobby lounge and the restaurant, and both had great food, service, and atmosphere. The spa was excellent, with attentive service throughout. We’ve stayed at many Four Seasons, and this is among the best. A premier place, and one I’d highly recommend.

Rachelle at reception deserves a special mention. She was so kind, patient, and ready to help with anything we needed, and her warmth made the stay even better. Everyone we met was friendly, professional, attentive to small details, and made us feel cared for. The rooms were spacious, elegant, and thoughtfully laid out, and the calm atmosphere added to the feeling of comfort. From the moment we arrived, the Four Seasons Hotel in Florence felt special. It made for an unforgettable stay, and we’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Florence.
