Gino's place

I barely slept during the stay. There were big gaps around the windows, despite being told they were double-paned, and I could feel air coming in. People talking and cars passing were so loud every night. The parking information was also completely wrong: I was first told there was parking on the property, then the day before arrival I was directed to a lot on the same street. Its owner had changed over six months earlier, and the price had doubled. The host never came by, and all the issues meant I was constantly messaging them until I was exhausted. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this was awful. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone hoping to enjoy their trip.

It's an old apartment, and quite a few things need attention: the toilet cistern and bathroom door don't work properly, the bathroom is noisy, and the sofa bed makes a lot of noise when moved. It's listed for four people, but there's not even a door that closes properly, and the bed in the “fourth” room isn't a double. The city tax was another issue. Both Booking.com and the apartment listing said €4 per person per night, but after I arrived I was told it had gone up to €5.50. I didn't think it was fair to change an agreed price after I'd already arrived.
