Globus Urban Hotel

Jasmine was especially welcoming and made sure we were settled in comfortably. Her kindness made the stay memorable. Our room was modern and spotless, with a very comfortable bed, and the breakfast offered plenty of delicious choices. We also liked the playful option to change the bathroom light color. Globus Urban Hotel is in a perfect spot for exploring Florence: a five-minute walk from both the central train station and the magnificent Duomo, and only a minute from the lively Mercato Centrale. Shops and cafes are all around. Highly recommended!

Service was wonderful, and the staff were on their A-game. The location is excellent, about a five-minute walk from the Duomo, San Lorenzo church and market, and some amazing restaurants. The rooms felt quite claustrophobic, though, and the bathrooms were especially difficult for someone of average size. There was no closet space or room to open a large bag, just five hangers on a small open rail.

The room was modern and well set up, and breakfast was great. Staff were accommodating and friendly, greeting us every time we left or came back, which helped make the stay enjoyable. The location is only a few minutes from the train station, with great restaurants and pop-up leather shops nearby. Highly recommended.

The breakfast had continental options along with scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes. The fresh fruit was some of the best we’ve had at a hotel breakfast. Rooms were modern and very clean, and the Central Market is just around the corner. Most sights are a leisurely 5-10 minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants and gelato shops within a block or two. The front desk staff were exceptional, professional, and knowledgeable, always smiling and ready to help. Highly recommended.
