10/10
The small Wi-Fi issue in our room was the only downside. Otherwise, the studio was great. It was spacious and clean, with a good-sized kitchenette, a king bed, and a bathroom with reliable hot water. Everything looked renovated and nice. There were two air conditioners to keep the room cool. We could check in early, and the owner was friendly and helpful. The hotel is near the Duomo and other attractions. We stayed at Locanda Gallo Guest House 54 for three nights and would recommend it.

We spent hours outside the locked door, and the neighbors seemed used to this situation. They kept saying they didn't know anything, then disappeared. The reception was supposed to open at 10:00 AM, but nobody was there when we arrived. We called, left a message, and kept buzzing all day, every day we were in Florence, trying to get our money refunded. I think this is fraud.

The street below was really noisy, though the staff were friendly.
