10/10
It was reasonably priced, the accommodations were comfortable, and breakfast was nice. The hotel is within walking distance of the main tourist areas, good restaurants, and fun bars. Great place, and I'll stay here again on my next visit to Florence.

The staff were nice and the complimentary breakfast was good. Our shower drain was clogged, which shouldn't happen by three-star hotel standards. We stayed in March, and the room was so cold that we couldn't warm it enough. I can't say what it's like in summer, but I expect you'd be fine then. (Room 9)

Breakfast was really good, but the room itself was tiny and quite old. We stayed in 2023 and arrived three hours early with our three-year-old, yet they wouldn't let us into the room before official check-in, even though the room was there and cleaning staff were around. There was no flexibility, which felt strange. Check-in was at 3:00, and apparently even 2:50 was too early. It didn't feel very customer-friendly.

We had a good stay and would come back. The location is excellent, near public transit and within easy reach of sights, restaurants, a grocery store, and laundry. Our room, number 12, was a bit vintage, and the pillows were on the hard side. The area and room were quiet, and the TV and WiFi worked great. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the woman running the breakfast area did a fantastic job. Breakfast was excellent, with meats, cheese, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, pancakes, hard-boiled eggs, and great coffee.

The staff were outstanding and went above and beyond to help make the trip memorable. The rooms have a charming vintage feel that reflects Italian culture, and the hotel seems well suited to families. It was amazing in almost every way and definitely worth it, despite being a bit far from the railway station. Walking there isn't really an option, so you'll need a taxi. Kudos to the team for such great service!
